Magnetic coupling and flag indication
Magnetic describes the coupling between the float magnet and the external indicator; flag describes the rotating visual indicator. In the 562 / 563 / 564 family, the indicator is isolated from the process liquid and follows the float position. Confirm the full configuration rather than selecting on terminology alone.
How do 562, 563 and 564 differ?
The original indicator selection table identifies 562 as aluminum alloy, 563 as 304SS and 564 as 316LSS. These are indicator material distinctions, not a statement that all wetted components use that material. Verify the float, chamber, connections and options separately.
Can alarms or remote transmission be added?
The product documentation lists optional 528 / 529 level switches and 530 / 531 transmitters. Provide the gauge model, measuring length, alarm positions and required output to confirm compatibility. These options are not standard equipment on every gauge.
