810 Level and Leak Alarm Monitor

The 810 series receives signals from 586 electro-optic sensors and provides audible and visual level or leak alarms. The 810A monitors level and the 810B monitors leaks. Applications include dry or brine-filled double-wall tanks and sump pits. Relay outputs and RS-485 communication are optional.

How is it used with double-wall tanks and sumps?

The 810 is the alarm monitor and requires suitable 586 electro-optic sensors. Dry interstitial spaces, brine-filled interstices and sumps use different sensing arrangements. Provide tank construction, fluid and monitoring-point requirements.

Do you need relay outputs or communication?

Audible and visual alarms are the basic functions. SPDT relays and RS-485 are optional. Specify the receiving system, relay count and protocol; RS-485 alone does not establish support for a particular protocol.

Application and selection notes

Identify whether the application is a dry interstitial space, a brine-filled double-wall tank or a sump, then select the 586 sensor and its location.
Relays and RS-485 are optional. Confirm the protocol, relay count and interlock requirements when ordering.
Safety barriers and surge arresters are optional system components. A barrier alone does not establish intrinsic safety; verify the complete loop and area requirements.
